GPS Receiver Module
The GPS Receiver Module connects to an Active Antenna and provides GPS data via a RS-422 serial channel. The unit is housed in a rugged enclosure, which includes a Mil-Std-704A Power Supply, which feeds from a 28 VDC source.
Overview
The GPS Receiver Module is a self-contained unit that supplies position, altitude and speed data via a serial link. It interfaces with aircraft systems via a D-Type connector on its panel. These include:
- Bi-directional RS-422 channel for GPS data and for initialization
- Differential 1 PPS output
- RF interface to GPS antenna input
- 28 VDC power input
