Protocol Converter

Protocol Converter

Description
Features

The Protocol Converter (PLR P/N: 10194-01) is a microprocessor-controlled system, which operate as a data translator or protocol converter, capable of converting any of its input protocols to any of its output protocols.

On the Mil-Std-1553 bus the unit operates as a Remote Terminal. Bus lists, ARIN-429 labels and users applications are uploaded using a RS-422 communication channel. This channel can also be used for maintenance and operational software update purposes.
